union or division?

while "union" pre-supposes a "joining" or "coming together" in "mutuality," it is a force that can be used negatively, for example: some gangs, some congregations, some organizations, and some nations.

Union, on the other hand, implies the Unity of AllIt is One, Whole, Complete, Joined, Uned, Yolked, and Connected.

8                                             8

interestingly enough (in the military), the union of teams, squads, platoons, companies, and regiments... is called a "division."

bright [k]night

bright [k]night  [i]

who can change the Uni?
who can seize the day?
who can be a beacon, maybe brighten-up the way?
who turns caterpillar into butterfly (in flight)?
who can change the Uni-verse (with smile, first):
bright [k]night

  • in chess, the knight can fly.
  • when apparent doom and gloom seizes the day, can a smile begin the ripple-effect that changes the Universe?
  • let’s find out.

confession (4.24.17)

for the past several months, i've actually been drawn to bad news.  dare i say "craving" bad news?  why?

maybe because:
  • bad news/drama makes us feel more alive than flat-lining.
  • bad news can make one feel "right" if s/he predicted/professed it.
  • bad news knowledge gives one something to talk with others about.  in a weird way, it is connecting.
  • bad news is contagious.
  • bad news gets others' attention.
why are catastrophic storms more seductive than a light rain?

why are seedy politicians more newsworthy than sunrises?

in any event, i've decided (today) to switch my morning routine:
  1. instead of waking-up in search of bad news, i'll ease into the day -- without the computer on.
  2. instead of NPR (news) as my home page, i've switched to, a page of positive inspirations.
  3. instead of getting down because of world events, i've decided to use world events to re-mine-d me of all of the things that i can be grateful for -- right now.
one thing that i am grateful for is to be able to do this: to express myself, on a blog.  thank google, actually, for providing this format.

mirror, mirror on the wall (projection or reflection)
what will i co-create: health/wealth (with laughter and connection)
what will i now experience with every breath i take?
mirror, mirror (re-create) image-in what i’ll make

  • the creation begins with image-i-nation.
  • it moves forward, with action.
  • while sensory input might (momentarily) take me off course
  • Gratitude, followed by a positive outlook can change my the Uni-Verse.

mirror, mirror

mirror mirror  [i]

mirror, mirror on the wall (what is this world i see?)
who must i blame for war, destruction, disease, famine: (me)
who can i thank for love, compassion, beauty, color: (eye)
mirror, mirror (re-create): image-in reasons why

  • Be-Cause, without me (re-Cognizing that which is in the mirror), it wouldn’t be there.
  • this whole Mega-Verse is a reflection of that which eye be-li[e]ve is Real.
  •  the (obvious) learning point, here, is that there are an infinite number of realities that i could focus upon, right now.  from the birth of a baby to the explosion of a bomb... they are all real.
  • ...but what if i get caught up in a false reality -- like a cult or fake religion?
    • then that reality experience will also be real, in my mind...
    • until such time as i opt out of it.
  • ...but what of others, who are caught up in false realities?  don't they affect my reality?
    • if i believe that they are affecting my reality,
    • then i would, in effect, be allowing my reality to be affected.
      • again... my responsibility.
  • the only Real question is... what reality would i like to experience?
    • what am i watching, listening to, and focusing on?
    • what would i like to co-create, today?
