5-25-70  [1]
by a. hundred
inspired by the article:
"cancer is partly caused by bad luck"
five or twenty-five percent
seventy is decadent
sixty, forty, twenty, ten
mix them up and try again

do a research study, fine
base the facts on yours and mine

base the facts on non-sense, yes

truth: (it’s anybody’s guess)

·         5% comes from heredity: DNA
·         25% comes from the environment
·         70% is random [2]

·         …and, instead of trying to find a “cure,” the cancer companies use y/our donations to research which new drugs they might (try out, uh…) bestow upon unfortunate patients.

·         …and there is absolutely no reason why we should trust the 5-25-70 numbers.  the researchers might just be just hacking away, trying to come up with something that sounds viable.  heck, the researchers might be “funded,” which means that their very job is to verify what the funders want verified.

·         …because what if cancer is (mostly) mental?  what if cancer is the product of fear (and his children): anxiety, worry, jealousy, envy, depression, anger, passive-aggressiveness, criticism, hate, violence, war…

·         my take:
o   10% dna
o   25-50% environment
o   40-65% thoughts, emotions, and beliefs

can we “think” our way into cancerous situations?  affirmative

one (small?) example: thoughts come before votes.

dessication  [1]
by d. essicated

when the body (bloated), here, amid this in-car-nation
better yet, no s-w[h]eat (let’s move!):

(the bowels of dessication)

  •  nothing that you haven’t heard before: farmers, trying to earn a living, succumbing to giant corporations... which (given more human rights than people) strive to earn an exponentially higher (and higher) standard of living.
  • since when did we not know that, to a corporation, y/our health is inversely prioritized with profit.
  • does anyone not know which is on which end of the continuum, during the board-meeting agenda review?

last day

last day  [1]
by g. r. ateful

if this was the last day
last day on planet, earth
last day of conscious this-ness
last day (since day of birth)
last day to make things right, last day for saying something True

if this was the last day, i’d like to spend
last day
with you

  • inspired by watching a rather uninspiring movie, entitled: “4:44: the last day on earth.”
  • i'd like to spend it, re-member-ing the very best of times.
