thank you for the fish

thank you for the fish [1]
by t. hefishes

thank you for the fish
thank you for the smiles
thank you for the chance (to sit, to share, to talk awhile)

thank you for the memories, and granting every wish
thank you for the supper, table,
thank you for the fish

(a chance to re-me-niss)

axial precession

axial precession [1]
by s. pinning

wobble, rotate, spin (as we fly across the sky)
circling a sun (although no one knows reason why)

  • why do planets ‘float’ amid a universal sky?
  • why do the building blocks of those planets (atoms) act in exactly the same way?

precession is a change in the orientation of the rotational axis of a rotating body. In an appropriate reference frame it can be defined as a change in the first Euler angle, whereas the third Euler angle defines the rotation itself. In other words, the axis of rotation of a precessing body itself rotates around another axis. A motion in which the second Euler angle changes is called nutation.[2] [3]

magnetic reconnection

magnetic reconnection [1]
by connie c. teddness

there’s a subtle explanation (your and my reflection)
we are drawn together by magnetic reconnection

  • …and, there’s nothing we can do about it, except everything.
  • freedom of choice might not cover situations that are beyond our control, but, once those situations become imaginable, we can have an impact regarding how we perceive them.
magnetic reconnection is a physical process in highly conducting plasmas in which the magnetic topology is rearranged and magnetic energy is converted to kinetic energy, thermal energy, and particle acceleration.[2]

separate i's

separate i’s [1]
by eye i. eye

eye see i through separate i’s
one looks left (the other, right)
independent, so eye think
when together, depth (perceive)

eye see i through separate eyes
sometimes naughty (others, nice)
how can opposites be One?
separate eyes where have you gone?

  • two (apparently separate) eyes, acting as One. oppositical (left/right).  Whole.
  • necessarily a-part, in order to process diversified data from different perspectives… thereby getting a better view... of the game.
