"walk on through the park"

this is a "no need to read this one" post,
as it is no-thing but a glimpse into the crazed workings of the lennybrain.
 .
definitions: http://www.thefreedictionary.com

* walk: to move over a surface by taking steps with the feet at a pace slower than a run.

* park: to put something (for a time) in a certain location.

while these definitions are (obviously) different, the words are used together when describing a "walk on through the park."

of course, a "park" is also defined as:
"...a large tract of rural land kept in its natural state and
usually reserved for the enjoyment and recreation of visitors."

...anyway...

the word "through" implies movement, so the metaphysical translation goes something like this:

* "walk on through the park": to undertake a short journey (here), in a place that can be perceived as magical. ..to appear to move through a space/time continuum with-In an experience that cannot (Really) be described as a "place" or a "time."

"walk on through the park," in five short words, paints a picture of that which we call "life." ..we appear to walk through life (here) as we are (literally) parked, and (usually) in the dark.

used in context of a thoem, "entitled earth is Heaven," [click here for "earth is Heaven"], the line
"walk on through the park" adds symbolism to the idea that life can be like "a walk in the park."

combined with other lines, like "taste a ray of rosy sunshine" and "breathe a breadth of color,"
"walk on through the park" creates a paradoxically harmonic, artistic environment that could be described as "out of this world."

"walk on through the park," is a set-up for the bruce springsteen line "dancing in the dark," which also describes the phenomenon of life (here) using only a few, short words. ..in fact, i could write (for days) about "dancing in the dark."

"walk on through the park," paves the way for an under-standing of phenomena like 1+1 = One, and allows us to glimpse into the possibility that earth could (Literally) Be Heaven.

  1. Okay...now I get it.

(it's understandable, though, why I didn't get it the first time. We don't do much 'parking' these days...)
