skinned

i’m skinned [1]

by s. kin

i’m skinned if i do, and skinned if i don’t

i’m skinned if i will and i’m skinned if i won’t

i’m skinned with desire (it’s a game you can’t win)

i’m skinned if i find myself thinking i’m skinned

i’m skinned when i find myself thinking

i’m skinned

  1. Is it just "me", or does the illustration look really, really vaginal? It's just me. Do beg pardon.

  2. it's not a georgia o'keefe painting, and (i.m.o.) microsoft is fairly conservative in its clipart selection.

flowers have often been associated with sexual passion, and it is interesting that the keyword "skin" would produce this painting as one of its selections (unless, of course, the image is depicting the skin of the earth).

    that's the politically evasive non-answer. :)
