the time-share "situation"

another day in pattya, another day in melissa's time-share. ..as part of melissa's e-bay time-share agreement, i had to listen to the time-share "pitch" today, and the australian guy who is managing the place simply asked if i was interested in buying a time-share.
.
..when i told him my present job/money situation, he politely let me know that there was no need for me to sit through any more than the three minutes we'd already shared. ..i did find out that a time-share was about $5000.00 u.s., that the maintenance fee as about $260.00 per year, and that the off-the-street price for the room i'm staying in is about $120.00 per night.
.
learning point: play poor.
.
i hope that somebody else gets to enjoy the rest of the week here. ..pattya is relatively clean, the beach is good, and the time-share, well... melissa, how did you pull this off on e-bay?

  3. Hi, Sonia and Claude!
    .
He didn't throw me out, but he probably wasn't happy that i was staying in a room that wasn't mine for $00.00, and living in luxury.
    .
He was pretty cool about it, however.

If you ever come to Thailand, ask Melissa how she found this place on e-bay.

    Awesome!

    Love,
    Len
