not your average ferry

the non-stop fast-ferry from siem reap to phnom penh was a trip and a half..
we cruised down a large river that looked like something straight out of a documentary.

.
although you could sit inside, several of us moved around (and atop) the ship. in order to get from the top to the front or the inside, you had to climb down (no stairs) and then hang on (no outer railings).

the picture (above, to the far right) shows
the steel bar that you had to step on
to get from the top to the side,
all at top speed.

u.s.a. lawyers would have a field day.

  2. Sonia!

GREAT to hear from you. If you were here on that ferry, we could have done yoga on the roof!

Actually, I was in "prayer posture" during parts of the trek.
